In response to the AONN+ membership’s desire for certification, the Certification Task Force has been establish to develop a general oncology navigator certification examination. AONN+ is proud to be holding the first annual Nurse Navigation and Patient Navigation Exams at the Eighth Annual Conference, November 16-19, 2017, at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, in Orlando, FL. 

AONN+ has established its Oncology Nurse Navigator–Certified Generalist™ (ONN-CG™) and Oncology Patient Navigator–Certified Generalist™ (OPN-CG™) certifications for professionals in these respective professional fields. The educational criteria and curriculum were developed by the AONN+ Certification Task Force which is made up of experienced leaders within both navigator fields.
